    WE DID IT! 1st Place in All 3 Divisions - We Secured 1st Place Academy & 1st Place Elite 8 @ Jiu Jitsu World League 2023 Season For the Texas Region. Our @CarlosMachadoJiuJitsuMidCities team showed up to 6 Jiu Jitsu World League Texas events in 2023. We maintained a 1st place lead all year and then were passed up at the last minute by 2 big powerhouse BJJ academies from Houston. Our team fell back into 3rd place a few weeks prior to the November 18th, 2023 Jiu Jitsu World League Texas Region Finals were held at the Comerica Center in Frisco, TX. I have known Professor Hamilton for more than 6 years and  I can absolutely say that it was heartbreaking seeing him leave our academy and teach at Mid Cities, but our loss is Mid cities gain! Mid cities will have an incredible instructor and a new brother. Professor Hamilton is an incredible human being and family man. Every time I trained with him at the academy his ego was always at the door! Best of luck with your new academy Greggo! Take care of him Texas!
