    WE DID IT! 1st Place in All 3 Divisions - We Secured 1st Place Academy & 1st Place Elite 8 @ Jiu Jitsu World League 2023 Season For the Texas Region. Our @CarlosMachadoJiuJitsuMidCities team showed up to 6 Jiu Jitsu World League Texas events in 2023. We maintained a 1st place lead all year and then were passed up at the last minute by 2 big powerhouse BJJ academies from Houston. Our team fell back into 3rd place a few weeks prior to the November 18th, 2023 Jiu Jitsu World League Texas Region Finals were held at the Comerica Center in Frisco, TX. Roughly two weeks in, only attending the 6am morning classes, everyone is very nice and friendly, no egos, no attitudes, genuinely a nice group of ppl with an excellent down to earth professor. As a rookie nobody tries to destroy you, instead they focus on helping you develop. Overall great experience and sense of unity!

Been going a couple of months now and I'm glad I finally walked through the door that first day and joined. The professor is extremely knowledgeable and helpful to all who attend.
